Which class in your opinion between Warrior and Paladin has higher mitigation/avoidance in ICC ?

Your question strikes me as one which doesn't require opinions, but rather facts. You may be better served on a site such as elitist jerks, where your question is surely covered by either the stickies or the theory craft articles. But so you don't leave empty handed I believe the answer will be paladin for various reasons that I will not bother double checking or citing.

Not much difference in avoidance as both use nearly identical gear. Mitigation is nearly identical for both above 35% hp as warrs have critical shield blocks to make up for blocking fewer attacks that Holy Shield will provide. Pallys also have 2% more damage reduction thru talents+glyph, but the real difference atm is simply Ardent Defender(damage taken below 35% hp is reduced by 20% and any hit that would otherwise kill the pally will proc AD which will heal the pally for 30% - 2min cd).

I think that Pally technically has a slight edge with Argent Def. (Or whatever it's called)...
But I wouldn't make any long term decisions based on the current short term lead. Classes switch around so fast - it's tough to say who is number 1 or if X class trumps Y class over a long time frame.

My pally has slightly more HP and avoidance (counting block) as does our warrior tank, who has ever so slightly better gear.
When I say slightly, I mean around 500 HP.
