Couple of questions here guys;
1) I was wondered; do you recommend any of the Frost Emblem trnkets, or not (for Mages) - and what do you recommend, pre 3.3?
2) I'm a bit confused abour Prismatic gems - which one do I put in a Eternal Belt Buckle?

I'm using the Nevermelting Ice Crystal from one of the new 5 mans, and the old Mirror of Truth (Or if that's the melee one, the spell version).
The 245 trinkets just suck for mages, but the 264 can be curious. There's one that's haste / mp5, and that COULD work for certain specs just because of the large amount of haste.
Edit: In a prismatic socket, you can put ANY gem. With the exception of meta gems / sockets, you can put any gem in any socket.
Depending on your spec, you should be putting Spellpower or Spellpower / Haste.

The nevermelting ice crystal really isn't that good of a trinket, at least not for an arcane specced mage. (then again I'm using Reign of the Dead and the Resurgeance 245 trinket -- which is really good for arcane, btw).
The 264 frost emblem trinkets are pretty subpar. You should be saving all of your frost emblems until you get your 4pc, then start looking at what else you can get with them. The current BiS 4pc is helm+shoulders+chest+gloves and offspec legs (some argue offspec gloves and set legs, either way).
As jay stated, the belt buckle can be any normal gem. Pristmatic just means it can match any color.
Call me sentimental, but for some reason I just can't get rid of Embrace of the Spider. It procs reasonably well and seems to work better for me than this.
Probably because that on use is pretty damn bad overall. It would be good if it was a proc or if it gave the flatput haste, but needing to ramp up the haste and it being gone after 20 seconds is pretty bad.
Yeah, that was a bad choice to blow my DKP on for sure. It sits in my bag with the hope I'll use it someday, but it never happens.
