Let the record show - because there is no place better to discuss my druid than right here, am I right? - that I faction transferred her. There are a number of sad things about this, but of primary concern is probably that I am so damn lazy that I spent $30 of real world money rather than repeat thirty levels.
Tangent warning (as if you needed a warning that I might go off on a tangent). I find it really frightening, in an I-am-a-lemming kind of way, that I could so little stand to play Alliance. And it's not the players - this isn't one of those "my side is great and the other side is full of Norris joking children" things. The Alliance folks on my server seemed like a lovely bunch, although there aren't many of them and good luck finding a thing on the AH. I like Night Elves and greatly prefer the Alliance architecture, but I could not stand doing battlegrounds on that side. Since I started enjoying PVP, Blizzard has succeeded so completely in getting me to dehumanize the enemy that I would rather be a cow than heal a Draenei Paladin.
Edit: Also, I really want to thank Ysabellstohelit for the most excellent tip. I just stay in cat form all the time and it's true, I hardly notice I'm a cow. I do try to mount up as little as possible because they turned my Dawnsaber into a Red Skeletal Horse which, though a very cool mount, I look ridiculous on.
