A Muty going Combat for HC?Follow

recently i've noticed in the heroics i attend. cept for the ICC and Tch one's, stuff dies before i do really do anything as a muty rogue.

Will having a 2ndary spec for heroics as a combat rogue be better? [i'll still be muty for raids ofcourse]

if its just heroics, what weapon type should i aim for? Swords, axes?

edit: oh and just a bit of info on something. I wont be changing my muty gearing [except for my weapons; not enchants/gems/any gear slots] when going combat. So would a combat rogue spec with the gear of a muty be effective for quick heroics?

or should i not even bother isnce stuff be dead quick anyway?

[though i do see certain advantages of being combat for certain fights in raids or the recent heroics]

i felt the same issue when i dusted off my rogue for heroic farming. they move so fast its just easier as combat (for me), never bothering with stealth, and better aoe. I had a substantial damage and dps increase over mut for 5 mans. he's in craptastic gear though, so im not doin much (3-3.5k as opposed to 2.5-3k), but better is better.

Combat in heroics and switch fights is a great call. Most heroics I average 5k+ dps (including aoe packs/bosses/trash) as combat, simply because the damage doesn't take as long to ramp up. I still have mut for raids where I'm sitting on a target for a long time, but for short fights it is very hard to beat the cooldowns of combat.

Even raid trash.. I often have blade flurry and killing spree up for every aoe pack in ICC. It's grand.
