Best factions to Grind?Follow

It's probably in here someplace but I can't seem to find it. Question is what are the best Factions to farm to Exalted for a Mage? I'm going to do the Cenarion Expidition for the mount while I'm in the Outlands anyway.

How do you mean?

Are you doing this for achievements? For cosmetic rewards? For character-enhancing rewards?

If you mean you want to know which factions you need to boost your stats (basically, enchants), then you want Sons of Hodir and Kirin Tor (both assuming you will be gearing for PvE). But this only matters if you DO NOT have a character on the same server with them at exalted. The enchants themselves are now BoA, and can be transferred cross-faction.

As for item rewards, I'll leave that to someone else. Most will probably be replaced through badges fast, though.

Yes, looking first for the enchants and some starter equipment for PVE.
I don't PvP hardly at all if I can get away with it, most that I ever did was get the points to get some items my guild said that I had to have back in BC to get into Kara on my Hunter and Loc. Since then I changed Factions to Horde and Servers as my guild just wasn't doing anything and the old server was so 8up with guilds that required you to be geared better than you could get in an instance to go there.
Never did figure out how to get gear that was better than you could get in Kara to get in there and after you had Kara+ gear why you would want to go there?

As idiggory said Kirin Tor and Sons of Hodir are your first priorities if you don't have another level 80 with the rep. Although doing the dailies with Sons of Hodir regardless of whether you have the rep on another level 80 are always a decent source of gold if you are in need of it. Also, once you get to a point of not needing anything from badges you can buy rep using your spare triumph badges.

I think the easiest way to get yourself geared is to run normal ToC with guildies who want to do the same or maybe keep an eye on trade or any other channel that they are advertising in for people wanting to farm ToC for gear.
