hey whats going on everyone? I have a 80 boomkin and have been working on my gear for a little wile now. I have decent gear and have not been pulling the dps i should be. i am currently pulling 2.5-4k and 4k if i am lucky!!! in a 10 man raid. i have read a bunch of posts and still dont understand why it is. Im not sure if i have to gem different or my enchants are not right. any help would be nice cause it is driving me crazy.
My rotation on a boss is a follows- FF,MF,IS, wrath till luner eclipse then the starfire till soler eclips. i will also through in my trents and use starfall.

You'll have to wait for Arex to pick this up as he's the one with the Boomkin encyclopedia memorized, but from your Armory I'd say a few things about your gems:
Regem your outfit. Spell power all the way, only use (two, is it?) blue gems to activate the meta gem. Speaking of which, you shouldn't be using the spell reflect meta gem. Not sure if you should get the one with spell power and increased intellect or the one with increased crit damage. Spell penetration, from what I've gathered is also useless, so don't use them.
That said, I was doing 3-4k regularly in my Resto gear with my Boomkin build. Perhaps you need to work a bit on your rotation to squeeze the last drops out of it.

Please "talk up" if your comprehension white-shifts. I will use simple-happy language-words to help you understand.
The SP/Int meta is good if you're having problems with throughput, but almost universally you want to be taking the crit rating/crit damage one, since the global effect of it scales with your gear instead of simply providing a static buff to your stats.
Right now it looks like its your gear.
Regem everything to spell power, save for 2 blue sockets. Those two sockets should be filled with the spell power/spirit gems.
Make sure you have the 21crit/3% crit damage meta.
Lose the hit enchant on your gloves.
By doing this and upgrading your gear you'll find that you're doing more damage. Yes your crit will suffer, but thats just how it works.
Make sure you've downloaded squawkandawe as well to track your eclipse and dots.

cool thank you very much for your advice. i will try all of this out and see how it goes.
Btw, if you have IIF and a Draenei in your group, you will need only 9% hit to be capped in a raid. Less if its heroics. So, you can lose quite a bit of hit rating on your gear...
What I usually like to do when I`m already hit capped with only the gear is to change the enchant on boots for the one that gives Sta + movement. It helps to get away from stuff when you have 300ms of lag due to live so far away from the servers like me (I`m from Brazil). It`s not that much, but 12crit rating isnt either...
