But 4-5 levels higher destroys me. >.<

I just miss EVERYTHING.

I should note, I'm referring to level 35+ mobs since my Mage is 31.

Kinda sucks, because BoA gear means I can kill level 34 things like they're green.

That does tend to happen when your miss rate soars to near 20%. I don't really know what else you expected to happen. Why would you need to kill things that high above you anyway?

Because with the 20% exp gain, all the quests are orange or red. XD

I think you are trying to hard , what i have always done is quest in at least two different areas since i saw a guide by Azuarc i think it was where you do far more quests and travel a lot more but gain far more experience which i assume you are not doing ?

I know that it works pretty well as i never manage to complete an area fully before quests turn grey and i am always having to delete those quests to make room for new quests , I think it may solve your problem and it is so much more fun blasting through yellow/green quests than the slightly slower brown/red quests which get annoying to me when i keep missing the mobs when i know i should easily kill them.

I find by working all the areas possible it also stops the boredom of doing the same quests over and over on different alts as i can pick the quests i like.

I'm working on Loremaster as I level, so it's just going to get confusing if I head to too many areas. One would be fine, but the nearest to Hillsbrad for my leveling range is early STV, which is a pain to get to every time I need to port back to town, or Thousand Needles/Ashenvale, both of which take a good 10 minutes just to run to.

I'll probably head to Ashenvale next. I just don't want to leave 3 or 4 odd quests in Hillsbrad to do so... :P

I'm probably gonna gain a level or two via dungeons to try and even out the difference.

I get WHY the hit system works the way it does now, but I can't help but wish that they made the level gap bigger for lower levels. Because us missing two FNs in a row basically means we're dead. Most other classes still have tools to use to escape (or to survive long enough to drop combat) that work fairly well 5-7 levels higher.

But when you are dazed (worst feature ever, btw), blink isn't going to do much.

Be careful with those 4 level higher enemies. CBs aren't gone entirely, just removed from bosses.
