Runeforges remain superior.
A. RFs tend to give you two effects, a major and a minor one. The major is usually better than any other possibility, so the smaller buff makes it even better.
B. Tanking enchants suck--you will always want to use SSG, BS or FC (the last is not recommended).
C. Let's do some specific comparisons.
1. Fallen Crusader gives 15% Str, a 2% heal, lasts 15 seconds.
2. Berserking gives 400 AP, -5% armor, lasts 15 seconds.
400 AP = 200 St.
200=.15*Str means you need 1334 Str to match Berserking. Raid geared DKs generally have over 2K, before buffs. That's 600 AP--200 more than Berserking.
Furthermore, Berserking DOESN'T give you a net gain of 400 AP. Most DK specs include Bladed Armor, which gives 1 AP (per talent point) for ever 180 armor you have.
15K is probably an okay number to assume for a raid-level DK. That means you'd lose 750 armor, which is over 20 AP (with 5 points).
So you'd gain, say, 379 AP from a Berserking proc.
So, at 2K Str (let's say buffed), Berserking would give you 221 less AP. And you'd lose survivability, where FC HEALS you for 3%. And it boosts Str, which gives you Parry.
Berserking doesn't even come close. My TANK'S gear, when buffed by Mark and Forgotten Kings, surpasses the Str threshhold to make FC better.
And, while this is just heresay, FC may not have an ICD, which gives it a superior uptime to Berserking.
