I am sad to say my UI with dominos is no longer unicorn friendly anymore...

I can not get my frames to behave properly, it is mostly the stupid sticky action bar... If I place my spells on one bar they appear on one of my other bars. I am sure it is an easy fix, I put in a bit of effort, but alas the quick lazy fix for me was just setting that second bar to 0% alpha and tossing it to the side.

Dominos probably would give me a timer if I asked for it, now that you mention it. But then I'd have to make separate toolbars for the things that I want in special places and the perfect symmetry of my Dominos toolbars would be destroyed and then a black hole opens up in the universe and swallows a unicorn.
With all the terrible UI's around, this explains why there are no more/so few unicorns Smiley: frown

I know, I should really stop being lazy and just buckle down and fix it. My UI is still very clean and organized, until you take a closer look at what spells I placed where and how there are little gaps here and there... Maybe the Unicorns are only in hiding due to my UI.

What annoys me more than the sticky bar is switching from priest to priest and not having the spells in the same places. Only Levitate gets a dedicated spot on my UI, I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally dismounted in flight and needed that spells ASAP...

Okay, maybe I am killing the Unicorns...

Back on topic...

Postal. Simple, great for lazy bankers.

I don't do dailies, I auction to make my gold, and this addon has made my banker's life so much easier... All those alts sending her items and returns from the auction house drive me crazy. It is simple, there is an "open all" for the whole mailbox which will just dump everything in your mail into your bags in one click. Or you can just open select item by checking off a box next to each piece of mail.

All these addons are new to me since I finally have a computer that can support more than just my raiding addons, so I apologize if they are old news.

I think OmniCC will replace the spiral timers on all your bars with numeric counters. I haven't used it in a while, but I believe it is still maintained and works with any addon that includes some sort of timer model.

I previously use it with a faded, click-thru bartender bar to keep all my cooldowns in a convenient area to monitor, but have switched to Powerauras.

<3 Powerauras, especially for abilities with longer cds like PI and PS. For the shorter ones like Penance and CoH, I normally am relying on my inner clock and really don't need a timer. For things like Serendipity and Trinket procs, I have color-coded text notifications. i.e. 'Serendipity 1' in red for first stack, 'Serendipity 2' in yellow and 'Serendipity 3' in green for a full stack.

*edit Not sure which is more amazing, that I misspelled Serendipity three times, or that I actually spelled it right once. Smiley: blush

I've been using Dominos for a long time and I only yesterday learned that I could page the bars by modifier (so when I hold down, say, Shift, Bar 1 will show me Bar 4 instead), thereby reducing the number of bars I show by... a lot.

After some discussion over there on the main forums and doing some reading up I combined a few gift certificates and ordered a shiny new Logitech G13. Just when I learned my key bindings well enough to fade all my action bars except on mouseover, I'll be back to square one.

That must be what I was thinking of with dominos... Too many addons...

Yup, I learned the same thing stressful way during a raid recently. I must have been holding down my shift and hovered over the action bar frame. I must have been looking for fade or maybe fearward. When my eyes moved from my raid frames to the action bar all I saw was professions...

I'm with you on Windows 7 too.

For the vast majority of spells I cast in combat, I use my healing addon's raidframe and mouseclicks, rather than the action bars. For simplicity, I get rid of the griffins to make room for meters on the sides, and just have the Blizz action bar and unit frames. This way I also get the normal Blizz vehicle bar.

For me, the fancy action bars and unit frames aren't really needed, although I've tried most of them at one time or another.

Smiley: yikes But they're so huge. I've never had a problem with Blizz's bars functionally. Perfectly easy to use, bind, etc. But I am obsessive about screen clutter. My action bars in total get a 2x1 inch space on my screen and even then their opacity is at 20% unless I mouse over them. I wish I could say it was because I am constantly aware of what's going on in every square inch of my screen and I need to see it all because I'm some sort of Neo-leaning-aside-from-the-bullets ninja action hero warrior. But really it's because I'm OCD enough that I can't think straight if it's all untidy.

You know there's a scaling option in the options menu that allows you to take down the entire standard interface to the point where it's 3% of your screen, right?

It's not too late for me, thanks. I'll play with that.

I have no other response than that to the last two posts.
