Hey guys I was just curious if someone with more experience would be able to look at my armory and tell me if they think I'm at the point were taking reaping would be beneficial. I'm on my I phone so I can't link my armory but I would really appreciate if you looked me up. Name is demoniks on dragonmaw. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to help out

You aren't. You need 2pc T10 or several pieces of ICC gear. You have neither.

That said, if you want to do it, you shouldn't see a significant drop in DpS.

If you really care about min/maxing those few DpS, then wait until you get at least 2 more ICC pieces (maybe 3).

Also, just for the sake of adding to the above. If you care about min/maxing, think about your sigil. It and Virulence are only 10 EP apart max (EJ numbers). But Virulence doesn't need any ramp up time. If it ever drops in a fight, Virulence is superior. If the fight is shorter, Virulence is superior.

Just putting that out there. But, again, it's a REALLY small difference. I just don't know if you are a min/maxer.

Also, The Hodir shoulder enchant is better than that one. I dunno if you just don't have their rep on your DK, but know that all rep enchants are now BoA. If you have a Horde or Alliance char on your server that is exalted with them, you can purchase it and mail it.

And a Nightmare Tear to activate your meta, rather than +10 Str, +15 Stam, will give better DpS and nearly as much survivability. It will also activate your set bonus, yielding +6 crit. Switching to the +Agi, +crit meta will also mean you don't need the +10 Str/+15 crit.

If you don't care about min/maxing, you can realistically discard the last few paragraphs though.

I thought everyone picked up Reaping.

What are the Blood runes being used for in the second rotation?

Blood Strikes.

But the DpS difference is pretty small.

The rotation is:

PS>IT>BS>SS>BS>DC>HoW>
SS>BS>SS>BS>DC>(DC)

The DpS increase is very slight. I'd wager less than 150 in a realistic worst case scenario (meaning no-reaping out-performing Reaping).

Once you get 2pc T10, which boosts your SS damage by 10%, Reaping wins easily though. And SS scales much better with Crit than BS does.

Personally, I'd go with Reaping regardless. The rotation is easier to manage, and easier to repair if something happens. Plus, fewer necessary strikes means it will perform better on fights with movement, stuns, lockouts, shields, etc.

Though, the non-reaping rotation does have the bonus of decreasing the liklihood of the 5% buff on movement fights. But not by much.
