Been out of the game for a bit, but last I played the best tier setup was 2 T8 + 2T9, however this was before T10 was in.
I'm just wondering if the situation is similar, where the best setup is going to be 2 of T9 and 2 of T10, or whether T10's 4 piece bonus is great enough to go for it?

Not sure how the T10 bonus will work out. Just an FYI I believe they made a nerf to the 2t8 bonus making 4 t9 bonus better. I think theyre leaning the direction and encouraging 4 t10 but I havent seen numbers yet on it.
Thanks for the help, only snag now is that with the two new T9 pieces (ungemmed) I'm under hit cap by about 34
I've got Dying Curse sitting in my bank, but I'm reluctant to swap out a trinket. Any suggestions? (Preferably not any involving emblems of Frost. There's a droolworthy belt that would easily solve the problem, but I'm not expecting to be charging into Icecrown after being absent for a while)
I don't really want to resort to gemming for hit but unless there's something great I might just have to v.v

well, you could get the hit trinket until you accumulate some frost badges. Remember to do your daily random and the weekly raid. There's a potential for 19 badges/week right there without setting foot into ICC.
