I've been reading these forums and EJ for a while and I'm still a little puzzled with which spec has the higher dps considering the new changes in 3.3. EJ forums are a little outdated with their starter posts of both the Aff and Destro threads and you would have to be crazy to crunch in all those numbers and pages. I'm currently levelling as a destrolock but after reading the forums here, it seems affliction is the popular choice? Are there figures to justify this? Any help would be appreciated :)

I think you totally missed this thread. I don't think it has ICC, but I don't think people have BiS ICC or anything yet. Leveling as a destrolock is painful, level as afflic/demo and spec for raid later. I find it's more personal preference, I'm running both now but still prefer Afflic.

Yep I had a totally d'oh moment right there, I saw the thread after a few minutes of posting this . I need more sleep I guess haha. I think I'll be switching to Aff spec for now seeing as I mainly use DoTs. Thanks anyway!
