This probably belongs in the bored druid thread, but I just wanted to chime in as a leveling druid on how amazing this class really is...
My main was a rogue, and I've leveled a warrior, and while my druid is only level 46 I already can't believe how much fun it is to play this class! I've had a blast healing in the BGs, just started to enjoy tanking, and am loving this totally new perspective on questing...
Seriously, as a feral in dire bear form (I dual-specc'ed resto and feral with herb/alch. as the professions combo), the biggest problem I face now is a mob shortage. With other characters I used to loathe runners-- now I'm grateful to them for saving me the work. I can't imagine what life will be like when I get mangle and tree of life. And I'm still yet to try Moonkin...
My apologies for making a totally useless thread (my first and last one, I promise :-)), but this board has been invaluable in giving guidance and advice along the way, so I just wanted to wish you all a happy new year and ask rhetorically why anyone even bothers to play other classes? ;-)
Oh, and it's so much better in class=6 than class=4 from a civility standpoint. Trust me...

Tree of Life and Mangle is awesome, especially since Maul, glyphed, does a crapload of damage when the Mangle debuff is on your target(s). If you think groups of mobs are easy now, just wait till you get Mangle and Berserk. Pop Berserk and hit Mangle and Maul whenever possible. Stuff will drop in seconds.
Cat Mangle might not be an everlasting ****** anymore, but Berserk and Bear Mangle sure as hell is. Every three minutes I'm doing 5k DPS as the tank. Gotta love it.
And Tree of Life makes healing ezmode. No, seriously. Not only do you get additional spell power from the Improved Tree of Life talents, but you also do 6% more healing to everyone in range. That's a lot. My Rejuvenation ticks crit for 3200 instead of 2700 when I switch into ToL form.

DoTs more than cover all DoTs you might have on you, and the white damage. Then they still get normal heals for when you eat a big blast.
Druid Healers + Pally Tanks = a party that will never lose (even if everyone else dies).

Hmm...I was going to comment to express my disappointment that cat mangle was no longer an ever-lasting ******, but started to get nervous given the pants questions. And then somewhere between the alcohol and Kate Beckinsale I realized I had completely forgotten why I was disappointed in the first place. Carry on...

In Icecrown last night on one of the group pulls. Quick 5pt Savage Roar then Beserk & Swipe spam and about a minute later combat has finished with me on just over 25k DPS! Good times...
