New Dagger/Mace spec?Follow

I don't know why I feel compelled to post this. I've been on my rogue lately because my guild has plenty of healers and no rogues, which is good because I love playing my rogue. But last night we decided to do the random LFG and I joined with our MT and his wife (holy priest), and then we did it again with me on my Pally healer and his wife on her mage.

We got ToC when I was on my Pally, and we got a random rogue in the group. I was doing about two-thirds of his dps with the damage from my judgments alone and I decided to inspect him.

He had this equipped. Nice dagger, no?

So, did I miss a memo?


EDIT: I forgot to mention an important point, he was not geared at the level to go Arp, and even if he were, he was gemming AP not Arp.

Did you check his spec? Was he subtlety?

Might have been a rogue that just wants epic weapons? I had a friend do that (even after I told him not to). He was mace spec and upgraded a IL 200 blue mace to a IL 200 epic dagger. IT had slighter higher dps but of course less damage per hit and it wans't his spec. His solution was to quit playing the rogue and make a paladin but ehh.. what was we talking about?
