Glyph help For SV HunterFollow

Right now I am switching to SV from MM

I have the glyphs:
Major:
1. Glyph of kill shot
2. Glyph of Serpent Sting
3. Glyph of Steady Shot

Minor:
1. Glyph of Mend Pet
2. Glyph of Revive Pet
3. Glyph of Feign Death

I need to change a major glyph to Glyph of Explosive Shot. I have seen some people with the above but change the steady shot glyph for the explosive shot glyph and others changing the serpent sting glyph to explosive instead. I checked EJ and it indicates I should exchange Steady for explosive. Is that still the case with the new patch? What are the pro's and con's of each? Are either viable depending on situation?
