Hi again. You may remember me from a post I have made about playing Aion... however, I can't stand the fact thatleveling from 30-31 (cap is 50) takes longer than leveling from 70-75 in wow. Not to mention the lack of quests... BUT ANYWHO, this isn't about aion, this is about wow. My friends suckered me into playing with them and since playing with friends is more fun than not, I have a question.

Anywho, to get back on topic, I have a question on how to make a certain macro. I wanted to make a macro that would start off with 1 ability, then if that ability is on cooldown, would go on the next one down the list

ex: MS->OP->Slam

I've tried the old way
/cast mortal strike (rank whatever)
/cast overpower (rank whatever) etc.

It did not work.

I've tried adding in /stopcasting to make it
/cast whatever
/stopcast
/cast whatever #2
/stopcast etc...

It also did not work.

The first 2 would only cast the first thing, and the cooldown for the macro would be that ability. So if I start off with mortal strike, the macro would have a CD of 5 second and then when I click it again it would of course MS again.

Lastly, I tried the comma method, but that was just complete failure.

I've checked on wowwiki for warrior specific and their howto guide in general, but did not find what I was looking for (although it is very possible I may have missed it).

Thanks!

Bad idea.

Macros can't make decisions for you. And the /castrandom was changed to not do what you are asking.

Just get powerauras or something to track when various abilities are available and use that and focus on maintaining your priority list.

Mm... A lot has changed then. I'll just do things manually, I have no problem looking at the mouseovers - just wanted to be lazy for once :P
