Depending on the content I've had this issue for the last year.

More details would be nice.

Not much to tell, just a typical 0/55/16 bear tank with about 35k hp, 30k armor, 326 hit, 34 expertise, and 38% dodge. I used to be able to spam my swipe/maul aggro without probs, but now I find myself running out of rage and losing aggro at times... a little weird, not a huge deal, but slightly annoying....

Wear less gear?

But really it happens to rage tanks.

They didn't change anything so I have no idea why you didn't notice before.

I wear DPS gear in heroics. That helps quite a bit.

Not really an option for current raid content but then again it isn't an issue then for the most part.

The pathing errors that are causing mobs to get behind you may be causing it. When you tab to them, you wont be swinging. And any abilities you use that generate rage on hit (if there are any) wont do it.

I dunno if you generate rage on dodges, but that stat is deactivated when you are attacked from behind.

Or wear less avoidance.

I sacrifice some dodge and get more health in return. With a Priest, Warlock and Paladin in the group, I've got 52k health, but only about 40% dodge.

Two easy options: -

1) Tank without pants on (in-game not IRL)
2) Sit down and cop a crit for some extra rage (make sure you are at full health and the boss doesn't hit too hard!)

Nerdrage more.
Shout at your screen, swear at the healer if you're not topped up and if the dps dares to grab aggro or do less than 10k dps in a normal 5 man they'd better find a good place to hide.

Guarantees a full rage bar.

This thread is sending some mixed messages...

I should not wear pants and start nerdraging? My wife will be so confused (nevermind, she already thinks I'm crazy).

Women love an infuriated pantsless man.

It helps if you're drunk too.

Like Aethien says, it's better like that. ;-)

If it helps look at it this way; we all just react differently to over-gearing encounters. Tank and spank means different things to different people. Though, I never could understand why people disliked those fights.

I love tank and spank fights and do my best to get into one at least once a day.

Usually with random people I haven't met before. Smiley: sly

I think this thread does well at displaying the core of these druid boards to the general populace of the internet.

Also, this thread now requires me to link to the infamous Big Bear Buttrockets

Edit: also, pro sig man.

This also works better when you need to hit your **** with a hammer because you joined a POS PuG.

You know you have issues when the wife walks by and asks "Is there a good reason you are on the computer half naked?" unless she replies "Give me a minute to log on upstairs!"

The Mrs. generates rage when you tank without pants on IRL? Sounds kinky.

Its more fun when when she tanks. I get to stand somewhere behind her and heal. I like healing.

As long as you use some HoT's and not Natures Swiftness to heal from behind her, you and the Mrs. should be able to conquer anything!
