there is a QQ thread in the General thread, and someone mentioned that there is a new Pet?
I checked petopia but nothing stood out as new.
Was wondering what this "new" pet was? Or if anyone knows what I'm talking about?

Spirit Beats just look cool, imo, but are not very functional.

Finally a spirit beast I DO like the looks of. Playing almost always solo, so no worries in the "meh"-department.
IMO, they should allow the spirit beast to have the abilities of it's skin's class, with the lazer ability. Then it would truly be an exotic that is worth hunting for and using.
Disadvantage of that would be that everyone and their mother would have the same pet, which would make it ... well ... non-unique again.

Yes, but how many of them would roll in raids as BM? I don't think the lazer ability would pull up BM's DPS to replace MM or SV for raids. So yes it would be kind of non-unique in the fact that BM hunters would have them, but how does that change what is happening now? I know many hunters who have the "collection" of spirit beasts...
