Alright I thought it would be funny to make a "one hit kill" macro, that takes advantage of abilities that aren't on GCD, for use in BGs or for random ganking. Tell me what you think, or give some tips. (It's not in Macro form yet, just simple commands)
FIRST
/cast ambush
/cast vanish
/cast preparation
THEN
/cast ambush (this probably won't be part of the macro)
THEN
/cast kidney shot (macroed to a modifier?) ALT+ Kidney shot= Kidney Shot + Vanish ?
/cast vanish
THEN
/cast ambush
/cast shadow dance (This isn't on GCD, right?)
THEN
/cast cheap shot
FINALLLY
/cast eviscerate
If specced for Iniative, each Ambush will give 3 combo points, making Kidney shot last for 6 seconds (Rank 2) otherwise it will last for 5 seconds.
Then with the next Ambush, you'll have another 2-3 points, with the Cheap Shot giving you 4-5, and then finishing with Eviscerate.

Can you combine that many things into a macro? I thought there was a character limit.

@.@

Or...you could not suck and hit the buttons normally. Also you can't make a macro where you hit one button and multiple abilities go off(I think) the closest you can get is a castsequence macro.

Alright, I'll agree to do that if you get rid of every addon you play with.

You can only stack non-GCD commands with 1 on-GCD command. So... L2play and stop trying to make Hunteresque single button macros.

=)

Sub is so much more fun to play than Mut. Shadowstep reminds me of how I felt those days when my parents allowed me to stay up late when I was young. Stupid mut =(

Uh - I play with recount, omen, and guild2guild. None of which are ability or skill enhancing. But maybe you could create a string of macros. I dunno, not my field, I barely figured out a tricks macro on my own.

I would NEVER willingly group with a person who had all their abilities macro-ed as such.

A. It destroys their ability to react to situations. As a DK, when things go well, I have a very standard rotation-- PS>IT>BS>BS>SS>DC>SS>SS>SS>DC, repeat. But, whenever a new add comes along, I either need to reapply diseases or Pest them onto him. I may have to start using Blood Boil depending on the group size. Death And Decay as well. I have CDs to use. If I get stunned or the Boss is out of range/unhittable due to mechanics, then I may have to go from mid rotation back to the start. If I macroed abilities together, it would be a big issue.

B. Complacency breeds inadequacy.

I don't like this simply because the game would become more of a chore than anything, wheres the fun in pushing one button over and over. I like selecting the different moves myself the feeling of getting a lucky skill off or blowing the whole thing to learn that you wouldn't do that again. Playing like this you wont have any fun and you wont learn a thing as how to react to different situations. That said if playing like this makes you happy more power to you, may i suggest though find a happy medium group like talents (skills, spells) into to macros like action with stealth , action without stealth. :)
