I'm having trouble finding these, and I don't know why. I found one last night, just before the boss, and when I did I could not believe I had missed them earlier.

Anyone else having trouble finding these? Also, how are you dealing with them? Disarm them and have the Deathbound Ward inactive for an hour? Or mark them so that you can release them once the area is clear?

I didn't know they were traps at first, I thought everyone could see them.

I will answer my own question, in case anyone else wants the info.

This is what these things look like. Alla doesn't have the item in the DB yet.

They are not visible until you get kind of close, so don't just stumble about looking for them. They are proximity alarms so you don't have to actually touch them, just get very close. The result is that there is not a lot of buffer between being close enough to see and too close to set off.

They can be anywhere in the room, but generally speaking one will be to the left of an imaginary line drawn down the middle and one to the right. Last night both of them were in the midst of the MoBs at the back center of the room, and so I couldn't find them until we did a bit of clearing.

If you are clearing for rep, then you want to mark them with a flare. I used white flares because it was all I had with me, but red would be best I think. Also, since no one can see them no one knows how big they actually are, so although I started marking them in the middle, I soon switched to the leading edge of where I thought the group would be fighting.

Again, if you are clearing for rep then you will want to fight the Deathbound Wards because they are 75 rep each and there are four of them for a total of 300 rep, out of 1005 rep in the entire room for non-humans. If you clear an area first and then set one off, these guys are not that hard to deal with; just watch the frontal cleave - spirit lash or something its called. At one point I set one off, got the 80% speed debuff, and the tank grabbed the MoB and turned him away from the group and right onto me for a one-shot from the cleave.

I set them off by tricking the tank and walking to them, then cloaking and vanishing, but I don't think you can cloak the 80% speed debuff. I say "don't think" because I could swear I cloaked it off at one point but got it back after only a step or so.

As far as tanks go, our DK tank was having a problem with one of his taunts. I don't know enough about DKs and tanking to be any more clear on that. Our Pally tank had no problems with them at all. We were rep-clearing last night on 25-man with 23 in the group, and as the night wore on we were down to 16 at one point. We hadn't lost any tanks or healers so it just took longer to burn them down.

At 1005 rep per clear, three clears and you have a L251 ring. As I impressed on the guild last night before the run, three clears and everyone gets a ring - no roll, no dkp, just go over and turn in the quest. It seems dumb not to do this before going in for the boss, it didn't take that long.

EDIT: For clarification, the reason you want to mark them if you are rep-clearing, and not just disarm them, is that when they are disarmed the MoB cannot be "wakened" for at least 45 minutes to an hour (I have seen two posts and one said 45 minutes, the other an hour). If you are clearing and re-setting and you disarm the traps you will never wake these guys because the clear does not take that long.
