I take it you didn't read the thread wherein idiggory and I discussed the use of Corpse Explosion while tanking heroics. The reasoning was that in 5-mans, an AOE runic power dump might be of more value than a single target one. Only downside being that you need a corpse.
I've run several 5-mans with great success. As soon as one mob drops, CE will help glue the others to you. By no means a very effective talent point, but it's better than Unholy Blight.
