Shadow and HitFollow

Okay, here's a little silly question.

I understand that the hit cap is 263 w/ Shadow Focus, Misery and having a Draenei in the group.

Well my toon is a draenei, I can see the Heroic Presence buff on me, but am I affected by my own hit buff? I've been way over cap for a while (have been trying to regem and whatnot to reduce the amount of hit I actually have and to "up" everything else (like haste). So, as I can't really remove heroic presence from myself, it's kind of hard for me to determine whether or not, I'm affected by it.

Haha, man I'm so lame. The one place I didn't look was the tooltip itself (well I did look, I just didn't read it carefully).
