So I decided to make another rogue on my new account. My girlfriend owns the original account so I can't simply transfer Attie.
Anyway, after leveling a shaman, DK, and hunter, I have to say this:
Leveling a rogue is an effing pain.

It was the first class I leveled, so I had no perspective.

As I'm leveling a Death Knight, I'm amazed at how ridiculously easy it is. Then again, you leveled three very easy classes to level. It's kind of nice being able to stealth through caves though, aye?

combat rogues are soooo easy to grind with. I don't know what you're talkin about.

Try leveling a priest and then tell me that leveling a rogue is a pain.

Personally I had no problems leveling my priest to lvl 8.

Leveling my priest was easily three times more difficult than leveling my rogue.

Rogue is tougher to level than other classes. By the time I hit Outlands, my druid and shaman both had plenty of self-heals and damage mitigation. Rogue takes more damage and has no self-healing abilities besides potions and bandages. On that fun note, I do have 115 Super Healing Potions on my rogue. Even my mage is easier to level, because although he lacks heirlooms, he never takes damage and doesn't have to wait on cooldowns like my rogue does (KS is on a 20 second cooldown, meaning I get it use it once every couple of fights to avoid damage). Getting adds sucks as Mutilate; combat is ok with it, but Mutilate is faster in general after you can get it and some good daggers.

Still, it's not like it's HARD. At 72 leveling my rogue is still easy; I cut through enemies pretty quick, and only need to stop and bandage every 5-6 fights unless I get adds. Not painful, but I agree, other classes are easier.
