Haven't been on here in a long time. Months, but back to playing again and am wondering what addons or UI's you all are using. I use to use carbonite, DBM, Recount, and omen. Are these still the standard? any good rogue ones out there or easy to modify action bars?

Welcome back to zam!

A lot of the posters here have quit playing wow, myself include, but Aethien has a UI discussion in his journal. There are some pretty good rogue energy watch addons out there, though. If you don't have one, you should probably get one.

I will have a look see. Yeah with Dragon Age Origins, Borderlands, and MW2 hard to find WOW time, but the exp sounds interesting.

Heh, just got back from a year long hiatus myself. Been spending the last few weeks on DAO, and oddly, playing that game made me want to play Wow again.

A lot has changed in a year.

I will agree with you, a lot has changed. Finally got my character gemed, enchanted, and engineered correctly (I hope)! That whole weapon swapping I was reading about seems like it is going to be hit by the NERF bat.

I love Bartender, Auctionator, Jame's leveling guide add on, Recount, and Omen. Those are the only addons I use.

I'm currently using bartender, omen, recount and bagnon. Shall have to move onto deadly boss mods, and some unit frames soon.

If you haven't used bagnon before its got a very useful function that allows you to see what is in the inventory of all your alts. Example: you need an enchanting crystal & think your alt has one, mouse over the item and it will tell you if any characters have it in their bags/bank. This saves you tons of time if you have multiple alts that rely on other characters for their professions.

Anyone have any advice on a good unit frame addon? I'm not a fan of animated ones (which i think are from xperl?) and for some reason Pitbull always seems to go ******** whenever i go into a raid or battleground.

Currently use auctioneer (price trends of the auction house makes for smarter purchases), ice hud (nice graphic display of your health enemy health buffs and LARGE combo points), rogue focus bars (Easy to see bar graphs detailing buffs ,debuffs , dots and the amount of time remaining on them ...very helpful), miks battle text (lets you see the damage you do in a more customizable text fashion ), im still using quest helper as i need to see if the new blizzard quest helper also displays information about mobs on mouse over, xperl (raid frames, lets you see everyone in your party whether it bg or instance, and lets u see your targets target, good for following main tank if no one is marking mobs)and titan panel (shows u your gold lets u open all bags at once).

Out of these the 2 most useful for my rogue would be rogue focus bars and xperl.
