Been looking around can't find the answer... Kind of suspect the answer is no...

I know you start with a lot of stuff/skill/mounts...

Do DK start with or have a profession learned up to approximately mid 200s?

(For example - If I wanted to be a Miner - do you just start off with roughly 250 skill - OR - Am I headed back to the starter zones to mine copper like the rest of my toons?)

Thanks in advance

You will start with First Aid at 250-350, don't remember the exact number. All other professions start at 0.

Yeah, for the longest time I avoided playing my DK because it meant leveling trade skills. On the bright ide, he earned over 1k leveling mining and skinning before going to the outlands.

And then I decided I wanted a disenchater and leveled that all over again >.<

I'm levelling mining and jewelcrafting on my new dk right now and I can tell you it's a bit of a pain. To make matters worse I'm levelling fishing and cooking at the same time...

Cooking was/is easily done during the Harvest Bounty event. I went from 1 to 350 in an hour or so, using vendor materials and recipes only. Cheap as hell and zero farming, well, except for the odd 40 turkeys I had to kill in Elwynn.

Still, it's easy as heck.

You're probably right Mazra, but since I am levelling fishing I have more than enough mats for cooking.

That's how I did it before the Bounty Harvest event. Smiley: smile
