I am the 51/13/7 mutilate spec for PVE. Right now I'm sitting around 400 hit while gemming completely for agility. In the 2nd tier of combat, I was thinking of dropping 2 points out of hit rating for 2 points in improved slice and dice. A very small chance, but I figure the extra time on SnD will help especially on my opener.
Typically it's a race for garrotte, HfB, SnD, mut to 4-5 cp's, then envenom. Sometimes I get dodged or something (even though I have lots of expertise, I believe I'm capped) and my SnD will fall off. It's kind of rare for that to happen, but at times it does.
At 400 hit, I believe I am well over the poison hit cap. I know I'm specials capped, so extra hit rating will just make sure my off hand melee swings land more often. Still decent, but should I respec? Also just to be sure, talents that increase hit rating don't show up on character panel, correct?
