Hi. It could just be me, but I've been browsing Atlas Loot and checking out the low-to mid Outland instances. Is it just me, or is there a serious lack of 1h axes/maces with agi/AP/etc? This isn't a complaint as much as a 'What did you use?' question. I'm new to shamans, and I'm curious as to what I should look for. I'm sure I'll get quest rewards eventually, but until then, my weapons kinda..suck!

I don't recall too many exciting options for 1h weapons suited to an enhancement shaman in early Outland dungeons. In Hellfire Citadel and Coilfang Reservoir, the early dungeons have a couple of slower daggers in them, but those are non-optimal. I didn't really pay very close attention to weapon options when I took my shaman through a few months ago...you're through Outland so quickly now it wasn't worth the trouble to try and sort it out.

Avoid the drama by getting heirloom maces.

Yeah, heirloom maces are an option, but that means time away from getting out of Outland running heroics on my healer or tank. Add to that the horrible PuG's I (most of the time) land in, and you're talking two hours for one heroic. I'll stick with what I'm using right now over that :).

my shaman is just finishing outlands right now and weapon wise.....
upon 58, grab whatever ah has between fist/axe/mace, I was lucky to pick up 2 decent fists at 58, dont sweat it you will be shredding everything regardless.
replace ah stuff with 1h mace from a quest in zang, should pick up around 61, to lazy to link, and then at 65 you get a nice fist wep from ring of blood
that should take you clear to northrend.
edit impressive run-ons, etc

My mains have no need for conquest, and they added up VERY quickly with weekly 25 and 10 man raids. The heirloom weapons are almost as big of a change in the levelling pace as the experience pieces, if not bigger in some gaps (Outland)

Heirloom weapons are pretty sweet.
Else you'll have to pass outlands with quest stuff as there are few other options.

If you are serious about your character it probably would be a good idea to pick up one or two of the brewfest mugs if they're still affordable.
the 226 ilevel 2.6 speed maces aren't easy to replace for an enh shaman ^^

I plan on using quest rewards til 64 (two levels to go), then I'll get the fist weapon from Slave Pens and the one from Ring of Blood.

As far as the tankards, on my server, out of the question. I think the cheapest was 1800g. Might have been 2800. I can't remember.
