That is quite a deadly poison buff, it will no longer be the 5 stacked dot static damage anymore, woot!

I assume Instant will be the poison of choice on the other hand? Which should Deadly go on, the main or off?

i can confirm the talents are from 2/4/6/8/10% to 4/8/12/16/20%, however, when using mutilate on a training dummy, i noticed that when instant and deadly hit at the same time when deadly has 5 stacks, it wouldnt put a 2nd dose of instant on from the deadly poison new ability :(
#5REDACTED, Posted: Nov 19 2009 at 1:54 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I supose this translates as dual-deadly poison from now on?

Umm no. Why would you want dual deadly? once you have 5 stacks, you don't need to reapply, and thats what having dual deadly would do.

MyTeddy, whats the reasoning behind having IP on your fastest? I guess it depends on the maths for it.

I thought Instant goes on the slower weapon, since its PPM now, and wouldnt you want the slower weapon in main hand? will that bring any extra IP procs from instant attacks? Im also guessing if your higher dps weapon is faster, you would use that in your MH

I'd assume you want deadly on your quick weapon to get it to full stacks and ticking ASAP since after that both are going to count as instant (or wound?) anyways, right?

And I was going to mention dual deadly too: I wonder if it would crash the server in a GOTO 10 memory overflow. :P

Will likely be changed to apply to Instant Poison *only* or arena envenom spec is going to be bananas.

This would be my assumption. As soon as you're at 5 DP stacks, every additional proc is Instant Poison; and between Improved Poisons and the fact you've got a 30% proc rate initially, I'd expect to see far more procs from having it on your fast weapon than your slow.

Another question: I know poison uses spell hit. Does it count as spell damage? I.e. would it trigger Black Magic?

Last I heard it did. Some guy on wowhead mentioned that he used one weapon with black magic then when it procced he would use a weapon switch macro to switch back to dual berserker.
