I absolutely love the look of the mail gear available in Zul'Aman.... Trying to figure out how to get the Hex Lord's shoulders, etc as vanity items...

Could an 80 ToC-geared shammy solo Zul'Aman? If not, how many other people would I need to bring along? Is it duo-able with a tank?

No, you won't be able to solo any part of Zul'Aman. I've heard of geared players (tank classes) doing the first few bosses in Kara solo, but Zul'Aman is a substantial step up in terms of gear requirements over Kara. I haven't been to Zul'Aman since over a year ago and even when it was "current" content I hated it, but the trash alone would end you in an awful hurry. You'd never make it to any of the bosses and even if you did, the bear boss alone would be almost guaranteed to two shot you (if not one-shot).

As for a duo with an exceptionally well geared tank, you'd still be in for a very difficult run. Personally, I wouldn't think it would be possible. There's just too much damage coming out of most of those bosses, and even the trash is miserable. 5 80s could probably handle it without much difficulty, but 1-2 is asking for a really big repair bill and not much else.

I'd agree with 5 for the most part.

Depends on class and gear level.

Is mainly do to mechanics on many of the fights.

On a side note me and some friends were drunkenly joking in vent that a tank, healer, DPS combo could 3 man Spider wing.

ZA I would still say 5 people.

Mechanics are the main reason.

I've done Anub in Naxx25 with 10 people. The main issue with one tank is that the large adds that spawn can create some serious issues and without enough dps to burn them quickly, if you go into a swarm phase with adds up, you're in serious trouble. I would think it manageable with 3 people (I'm assuming you're referencing 10-man), but certainly a bit dicey.

Yes I did mean 10 man.

I can solo Attumen. Haven't tried much beyond him as I just want the mount and was bored.

I got cocky on the trash and died. This is a mostly 232 geared bear to get a reference.

ZA is a full tier up and has more involved boss mechanics then the first half of Kara.

edit:

If you try and solo ZG for mounts. If you get cocky with Axe Throwers you will die. By cocky I mean pull more than 3 of them. Chain stuns suck.

God damn the Axe Throwers are annoying. I've died/nearly died in there because of them. Sometimes even just one or two can be a problem. I've learned how to completely avoid them now though, so that helps.
