Ive checked the oboards, thedailydruid page, here, theres nothing about it!
Ive been wanting to start up doing resto pvp, I already got a 4 piece deadly gladiator set, chest, leggings, gloves and shoulders. i'm keeping my stormrage thingie on from pve.

But ive got no idea what trinkets/rings/enchants/gems to use!

:( Anyone has any idea about this or could point me out a guide about it?
Ive tried to go to elitistjerks but DEAR GOD, its too much yakkityyak about numbers and random crap in on topic im not gonna go through 25 pages of that, thats insane.

They also have no GUIDES.

Please? :)

PvP is something that is very hard to write a guide for, as it is so dynamic. The only thing you can really write about is stats and the most general tactics. Everything else... is kinda a learn by doing/discussing thing. PvP vids can help you learn.

The biggest part of PvP is learning what OTHER classes do. If you don't know that, then it doesn't matter how skilled you are. You will never be able to counter or preemptively strike. You'll never control an encounter.

The three things you need to know for PvP:

-Terrain of the field (for LoS and other purposes).
-Your own class mechanics and abilities.
-The abilities and possibly mechanics of other classes.

Gem for Spellpower.

Using 2pc Kodohide and 2pc Wyrmhide will give you an extra 50 resil from the 2pc bonus of each. 2 seconds off swiftmend is cool and all, but I like the extra resil.

Also try having a few pieces with hit on them as you want to have 3-4% hit as it will help with not missing on cyclones/roots as well, since CC is a big part of being a resto druid.

Pick up the caster rings/boots/bracers/trinkets from the pvp vendors.

Enchant as you normally would a resto set except use the pvp shoulder and head glyphs.

Need more? Ask more detailed questions and I'll see what I can do.

Here's your guide.

Guide #2:
1: Go to Ogrimmar/Ironforge.
2: Run just outside the city.
3: Duel people.
4: ???
5: Profit!

Oh, and checking ArenaJunkies might help too Smiley: tongue

Also, if you go for the 2 different set's approach, it will work even better come next patch. Since now you get 50 resi per 2pieces from different sets, but IIRC you get 100 when patch hits. So that's 100 bonus resi out of the air.

Ooh thanks very much for answering my question.
But I got a doubt, I have the kodohide but last I checked on wowhead the only "wyrmhide" set that exists is an old level 70 i think pvp set.

Am i missing something here or is that it?

All 3 specs have a pvp set at 80, they are all sold by the same vendor in Stormwind.

Kodohide, Wyrmhide and Dragonhide.

Wyrmhide at 80

thats freakin weird.
So far the only PVP gear i can buy from Tokens and/or honor is Deadly gladitor.
The only furious pieces I can get from Orgrimmar's Honor hold or whatever are capes, bracers, boots, belt and that kind of stuff.

But no sets.. any help? Maybe im missing an npc unless you can only buy them with tokens/ARENA points

OH, I get it now, Wyrmhide = Moonkin, Kodohide = Resto, Kittything = feral
Okay I got that one, but seems like I can only get them through arena/drop or triumph right?

Furious set pieces still require arena rating to acquire.

Go to the Dalaran sewers to get them.

Actually horsemouth you can get em without the rating through VoA and triumph, those dont have the rating on.

I got a couple and I havent been to arena once yet

I can still get lots of money if I find it on the ground as well.

Same basic idea.

You linked Medallion of the Horde twice.

If that WAS intentionally then no, you should not have two trinkets with the "remove movement impairing..." ability, as they share a CD. Grab one of them and go for the spark of hope. Which one you pick depends on what you need, Resil or SP.

I think he was just pointing out that his luck in VOA is about the same as mine. I've done it so many times on so many toons and only ever got one useful piece of loot out of it anyway. If i'm on my mage the druid pieces will drop, if i'm on my druid, the hunter pieces will drop and so on :(

Horse doesn't get mad at people here (on the druid forum at least) unless they deserve it, and your post was fine :)
