Are ******* OP.

Just sayin'

Leveling one at the moment, and at level 34 (STV yay!) I'm literally obliterating everything in my path.
And with the ease of a DK at the start of WotLK.
The only thing I don't have is the self healing, but I think I'll survive without that Smiley: tongue

Ok, so I have the heirloom shoulders, chest, axe, trinket and PvP trinket so my gear is good.
And I know warriors are dependent on good gear... but I'm amazed at how strong he is.

Their abilities and animations generally feel really brutal too. Cleave is incredibly satisfying, strafing away from an enemy and charging > mortal strike is just beautiful.

They are probably the most rewarding pvp class too. Get some gear and a pocket healer and you are an unstoppable engine of death.

I do love my warrior. Even with relatively poor gear I can carve through piles of enemies with virtually no downtime. I never get tired of charge > rend > mortal strike > overpower.

Having said that, I'm finding my enhancement shaman much improved. I've just come back after a couple of years and last time I played he was a liability, who had to eat and drink after every fight. Now he just plows on with seemingly inexhaustable mana and can cut through stuff almost as fast as my warrior. He also has a great deal more survivability if something goes wrong.

I had an absolute blast leveling my warrior from 70 to 80 as prot. I could pull huge groups of melee mobs and barely take a hit to my health.

The cooldown on bandages was way more than enough to keep me alive. Plus I never had to wait long for an instance group since I was a tank.

Man, thinking about things like that make me miss playing WoW. Then I think about it a little longer and I realize I don't really wanna come back.

Your signature tells me you're lying. Smiley: wink

I too was amazed at how much fun warriors were to play. I created this guy as a joke (c'mon, his name is Bignutz) and as a change of pace from mage. I had the heirloom gear and was ripping through stuff like crazy with no down time.

Now... I mostly pvp with my warrior and tank occasionally. They are just beasts. My warrior is pretty much my new main now.

Overpower crits always made me giggle back in the olden days of Warriordom, when you could ONLY use it after a dodged attack. I can't imagine what kind of euphoria it is now getting free ones all the time from Rend. Smiley: grin

Overpower is ludicrous these days. It has various +% damage modifiers applying to it, +50% chance to crit, procs from rend ticks with a 6 second internal cooldown. And if you strike an enemy with it while they are casting something it lowers all healing and damage dealt for 6 seconds. Stacks with mortal strike for a potential 75% off their effective heals. Oh and it has a 1 second cooldown.
