Shaman T10Follow

MMO has a mock up of the new shaman T10. It's on a human atm so looks will change by class.

Overall I don't think it's that bad. The shoulders will have a graphic of a ram comming out ever 10 sec or so (like the rogue T8). I'm not really fond of the helm, especially from the side. Just seems too "long" with the tusks out the front and the horns out the back. I do like how Blizz went away from the elemental theme and went with a more spirit theme though.

Thoughts?

This is probably my favorite set of all the T10's.

The set looks great. Do we know what the set bonuses will do yet?

* (2) Set: Your Riptide spell grants 20% spell haste for your next spellcast within 10 sec.
* (4) Set: Your Chain Heal critical strikes cause the target to heal for 25% of the healed amount over 9 sec.

* (2) Set: When you activate your Shamanistic Rage ability you also deal 12% additional damage for 15 sec.
* (4) Set: Each time the beneficial effect of your Maelstrom Weapon talent reaches 5 charges, you have a 15% chance to gain 20% attack power for 10 sec.

* (2) Set: Your Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning spells reduce the remaining cooldown on your Elemental Mastery talent by 2.0 sec.
* (4) Set: The cooldown on your Lava Burst ability is reduced by 1.5 sec.

This was in another set of patch notes awhile back, maybe for the ToC sets of tier. I don't think this one will go to live. This time it's even better than the last - before, it went down by one second for each LB. This one is two seconds for each LB and CL.

As a set, I love it. But it just doesn't feel Shaman-y to me. Seems more like a druid set, or a would be Mage set if those shoulder stags didn't exist.

I guess it is a reference to the Spirit of the Wild instead of an element, like they normally do (and I'm still waiting for them to incorporate this lore aspect into the class). If I think of it like that, it's good. But the lack of in-game reference to it makes this set feel out of place.

But, as I said, I love it. By far the best of them all. Most of the others suck, with a few tolerable ones.

I don't know much about Shaman, but those set bonuses look pretty sexy. How often do you normally get 5-set procs of Maelstrom. 15% seems a LITTLE low for something like that.

Maelstrom gets a five stack approximately every 5-10 seconds. So, the numbers are actually pretty good there.
