Specs: Prot / Ret (PvP)
Most played: Prot 0/51/20
Basically, I run friends in Heroics with my over gear Prot Pally (42k health) while eating popcorn and watch a movie. (And yes, it's easy).

I leveled as protection since LvL 10 and am way to poor to buy Dule spec so its prot all they way.

Dual spec'd Ret / Prot
Most played Ret as I leveled as this spec and didn't pick up Prot till 60.

Dual specced Prot/Ret, but I've never even switched over to Ret. I seem to level just fine.

Most of the time my guildies make me tank on my pally so we can get instant queues. I really don't mind tanking and it can be rather fun to see what all the groups can handle. We normally try to have at least 3 guildies in heroics so we can't get kicked out for some of the stupid things and dares we do. I also used to solo as prot for AE grinding in BC.
I actually prefer ret nowadays. It allows me to pay more attention to chat/vent/skype and upload pictures to my guildies if we are on skype (most won't open them, hehe). Tanking makes me pay attention, and I don't do holy since I heal on my shaman and my priest.

My main paladin I levelled as Holy. I was just getting the hang of healing in guild groups when the guild started to fall apart so I dual-specced to Prot and MTed a few guild runs in Naxx, Heroics with guildies etc.
Then the guild fell apart even more and I'm left with two specs I'm afraid to play in the current GS-obsessed climate. I kind of wish I had Ret so I could just dps and not worry about GS while I gear up a bit more but one of my other paladins is ret so it seems a bit pointless.
