Basically wondering if it's truly worth having BOTH specs rather than one and BM(for solo stuffs and awesome pets).
I know both bring different things (to my knowledge, Mortal Strike with MM, higher DPS with SV? Replenish is a wash due to high Ret population) but are they both very good to have?

It really depends on what you are wanting to do. I know my buddy ran a MM spec for Arena and his Sv spec for raiding (before the big ArP MM craze).
I was MM for raiding, SV for Arena.
I wish that drain was worthwhile in WotLK arena, as it actually required you to be skilled, rather than just speccing SV and destroying 99% of comps.

MM PvP is fun though.
Although I can't make a dent in a well geared holy paladin... plate+shield+resillience+good fast heals+mana efficiency. :'(

The only fun part was getting off a silencing shot RIGHT before a pally bubbled, or someone cast a big heal, and mowing them into the ground.
Oh, and Viper Sting /rolleyes.
