Normally I'd suggest a faction change to anyone wanting to know how to improve their human priest, but since I like fighting angry drunks, you can stay right where you are.

I had noticed people on Arena Junkies talking about faction changing and going Human, and I can see how it would be tempting, as yes, that racial is OP, plus spirit bonus and rep bonus are also nice. But these things tend to go in cycles, and then when some other race's racial becomes the best one, they'll have to change again. It's going to get expensive, and in actual real world money, too.

Obviously as a casual player I don't have a lot of need to min-max anyway, but no amount of OP-, um, over-poweredness, would be worth going human and doing that weird run where your arms don't move.

The human racial isn't as brilliant for a priest as it is for other classes in PvP, though. Most other humans have the flexibility of being able to equip an extra DPS trinket and will actually notice an increase in burst if they activate their trinket/it procs. The normal PvP trinket is good for a priest anyway because we want ********* of resilience - and our other options are mp5 or spellpower trinkets. Without a doubt, they help in the arenas, but you aren't going to feel it as much as a DPS proccing an armor pen/attack power trinket.

I would never faction change my priest to human for arenas, seeing as you can easily get enough rating for all the relentless weapons as any other race anyway.

Well yeah, that puts things into perspective.
