I was wondering if it would work if i go full int (for max mana) and use Holy Nova to AoE nme's (level 25)
Can also use the Glph that increases its healing and damage by 20%

I doubt even with a pure intellect build you could kill multiple mobs like that without having to stop and drink after every single fight and that is if your mana did not run out first.
I think you would be better off stacking intellect and spirit and going down the shadow tree as with spirit tap it sure helps me to keep up with my mana , as for multiple mobs you would be better off getting a mage as they are pretty good at doing aoe at even low levels . Priests are not great at multiple mobs at low level or at least i have not been able to deal with more than a couple at a time , well not at level 25 anyway , others here may have a better idea but i doubt any will recommend that you try to AOE mobs.

Thanks, i asked around ingame and i got the same sort of reactions.
You say i should get spirit, but isnt that only for out of battle regen?

What it does is increase your mana regen when you have killed a mob and it only works if the mob gives you experience ( so kill a grey mob and you lose mana fast , i know been there and done that ) and as far as i know the more spirit you have within reason the more mana gets generated while you continue killing the next mob , so you need to balance out your intellect with both spirit and of course some stamina , i am sure others can explain it a lot better but at higher levels then things like spell power and hit rating and haste come into use , i guess you had better do some reading and the top posts here for example the shadow priest one should give you more idea.

As you are leveling, shadow spec is probably your best option. We did have a thread on holy nova a while back. It can be very useful to a priest that isn't in shadow, and is perfect for farming groups of mobs for things like chilled meat or rhino meat, once your gear is good.
I would not recommend leveling this way as Shadow is more efficient.
However.
I did have some friends who leveled Disc through Northrend when Lich King first came out and AOE'ing mobs with Holy Nova was very efficient for them up to about the high 70's when the %mana didn't work out anymore. And this was pre-glyph. You need to have Spirit Tap maxed out and dot stuff up, so as the mobs die off one by one you are getting mana back as you Nova. I personally have never tried this, but it might be fun to try here and there if you get bored.

There are also some items in the game like Oracle Talisman of Ablution, that give mana return when you AOE, if you are the right level to use it.

At least in the early levels, Smite spec beats out shadow simply because although smite spec might kill slower it doesn't run OoM anywhere near as quickly.
Although I personally leveled as Smite spec all the way up to 75 where I switched to a disc PvPish build.
I did try shadow from 63-66 but I just couldn't get into it at all, I kept feeling like I was wasting mana on dots that only did half their damage to mobs before said mobs died leaving me with a mana pool that dried quicker than a puddle of water in the desert.

I have a level 80 holy priest. some random newbie asked for help running some low level instances so I said what the heck. I tanked and ran him through RFK And then SM using solely holy nova almost exclusively. Tanking on a priest is hillarious and against so many rules.
He started talking about wanting to run a priest so that he could do the same. I laughed my *** off. He seemed surprised when I told him that what I had been doing was exactly how you dont play a priest.

Holy Nova is the reason why my priest is to this date the only toon I enjoyed doing the Battle for Undercity with :)
