Anyone know a good addon that tells you when Kill Shot is ready to be used?
I have SCT and read somewhere it has the option to show it but it doesnt really work that well.
I cant use the standard WoW combat text as it interferes with SCT and SCTD, all I need is something that will tell me when Kill Shot is up.
I looked through Curse for something specific but couldnt find anything.
Thanks.

Besides it not being grayed out anymore....?

*edit*

Not sure if it will help but In-Line Aura is my savior on Mage/Pally. Not sure if maybe THAT makes things fade out.

I have all my CD skills on a bar using bartender. Keeps it small but pretty obvious. I think it's the same animation as the default bliz ui, the clock animation where the icon becomes un greyed out.

Power Auras Classic isn't the world's easiest addon to get squared away (much like Grid, it's very flexible and the configuration interface can be confusing). But "Give me a visible/audible indication when [ability] is available/unavailable" is basically its mission statement. I have it set up to show the standard icon for each shot in my hunter's FCFS an inch or two below his feet when that shot is ready, with a countdown timer in place of the icon when the shot isn't ready.

Aethien made this post some time back telling you how to use tellmewhen to watch when your shots come off cool-down. I use this for Kill Shot but but it doesn't work exactly the way I would like.

To get it to work you have to put Kill Shot in two slots with one showing its availability and then the other showing its cool-down timer. It's not the most elegant solution but it works and it's easy to set up. You just have to remember that Kill Shot isn't actually ready unless both icons are up.

Probably best to check up Power Auras if you can't distinguish when your target is (about to) hit 20% hp.

Thanks guys for the feedback.
I probaly didnt word my question correctly, yes it is greyed out when not available that isnt my issue.
I'am not always looking at it waiting for it to be usable.
What I wanted was a visible worded warning to flash up on the screen to tell me its ready to be used.
That way in the heat of battle I'll see it.
The WoW standard combat text wil do this fine but I cant use it as it interferes with SCT and SCTD to much, there ends up being so much text onscreen I cant see what I'am doing.
I'll try some of the options mentioned but if anyone else has any othr ideas I'am more than happy to give them a go.
Thanks for the help.

SCT used to warn Warriors when Overpower or Execute became active...I'm sure it's possible to do similar with Kill Shot.

But as a word of other advice, replace SCT with MSBT, it's a lot more flexible. It may even do what you're asking out of the box.

Thanks mate, downloaded Power Auras Classic and MBST so will see how they go.
I can get it to show up on SCT but not in the message box area, just as floating text mixed in with everything else so its hard to notice/distinguish.
Its not a real good solution.
Thanks everyone for helping out.

Yes because even with Blizz's crappy UI, it allows you to see either total health points or percentages.

Not sure, but try EventAlert.

It tracks:

Quote:
Hunter

* Improved Steady Shot (Marksmanship)
* Kill Shot
* Lock and Load (Survival talent)
* Rapid Killing (Marksmanship)

And displays the "proc" with an icon on your screen.
