Seeking advice/tips on Resto Shaman PvP :: Free Realms

Posted this on the O-boards but I wanted to put it here as well:

Howdy Shaman forum! My shaman friend and I are looking to start PvPing together. We will be doing 2v2 arena and BGs. He just dinged 80 this past weekend and is starting to gear up his character.

He is a Resto shaman and needs some tips/advice on PvPing. I am doing some research to help him out as well. I am not very well versed on how Resto shamans should work in PvP but I put together a build http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#hZ0xMhZV0euIxsEkbIRt:jLq

(I made the build based on the assumption he wouldn't be casting Healing Wave or Chain Heal very much as they are longer cast times.)

Please feel free to critique that build or if I am very off base (which I probably am) please suggest your own build. Any advice and tips are welcome and encouraged! Thanks!

I'm guessing that you read the sticky and there was no PvP section, so you posted a thread. Thanks for reminding me, I really need to at least link some O-board threads or something for the PvP section. D:

Chain Heal will pretty much never get cast in Arena, and then only occasionally HW. People still take Improved Healing Wave I'm rather sure.

My only suggestion on the spec is to get IHW, and Shamanistic Focus. He will be shocking alot (it's very essential to the playstyle) and needs to save mana. Take 1 point out of Nature's Guardian for it, I don't think I've seen a PvP Shaman yet with 5/5 NG.
