Mage armor sw:pain and corruptionFollow

Anyone ever notice that shadow ward: pain and corruption can be taken to the max duration via mind flay and drain life respectively even with mage armor up which drops the duration pretty much in half when they are initially cast on them? Its something i noticed last night after dueling a lock and shadow priest and was wondering if it was suppose to happen or if it was a bug with mage armor

Mind Flay/Drain Life refresh the duration of those respective DoTs when glyphed/talented properly. I think the mage armor duration reduction is only applicable to the initial cast. So I think it's not a bug, but they leave themselves awesomely vulnerable to Counterspell in order to do that.

ahh the CS opportunities are very nice kinda makes mage armor useless a little bit tho
