Hunters get blink spell?Follow

#1 Oct 11 2009 at 9:35 PM Rating: Decent
Been doing the BGs with a baby toon and something new I've noticed with hunters - they're "blinking."

I've seen it several times in WSG and AB with dwarf and NE hunters - my toon will be fighting one and all of a sudden the hunter will jump about 50 feet backwards on me - this is the teens to 29 range as my toon is only recently 21 this weekend.

I have a level 72 beast spec hunter but I haven't really used it for anything but farming for some time, so not sure if this is a new spell/skill, change to an older one, something from another tree I've never encountered before or the latest BG hack/exploit?

Disengage. Use it, love it, hate it.

I am surprised you did not realise it was disengage , i guess i do not use it much either as usually i end up falling down a cliff or being stopped by some object a few feet behind me or worse still being stunned by some mob i could not see behind me.

I know at the right time and place it is a great move and i bet against other players it cannot hurt at all ,looks like you need to try it out.

We've had this version of disengage for almost a year now, and hunters have had their time in the PvP spotlight too.
Not to mention that it's invaluable in PvE too.

And yes, you can go forward, sideways or even from the bottom to the top in dalaran arena with good use of disengage.

Hmm, I remember disengage but I don't ever remember it making me jump before, heh, shows how long its been since I've needed it.

Can you decide which direction to jump and if so, how?

Ha, believe me, mages, if no one else, feel your pain. Does Disengage suffer the same weird bugs of Blink? For example, Blinking over the bridge (or any bridge) near Stables in AB...not recommended.

When you disengage, that incredibly tiny bump in the terrain suddenly becomes high ground for you to get stuck on.
