Been away for a while..Follow

I took a 4 month vacation from the game and just reactivated my account.

I ran a few heroics last night and it appeared my dps wasn't up to par. I'm sure some of it was just rust but the other moonkin I was running with was +400 dps is roughly the same gear.

I did find out it seems the eclipse cooldown has been seperated from lunar and solar. I am curious as to what rotation is putting out the most dps.

My old rotation was FF-IS-MF-Wrath until Eclipse - Starfire until cooldown is over and repeat.

However it seems that with the way Eclipse works now it might have changed.

Ok, some things have changed a bit since you've last played when it comes to eclipse.

Now you can proc solar and lunar back to back. Each separate eclipse is on its own cooldown.

So the way it works now is this.

FF > Treants > Starfall > MF > IS > Wrath to proc eclipse > Starfire to proc eclipse. Rinse repeat proc eclipse, but the major thing that has changed is you can now refresh your dots during eclipse.

Also, you can drop some of your hit rating is possible you're over the cap with IFF and Balance of Power. Get some more haste. The haste cap is now 400. Anything up to 400 is going to be a bigger dps increase and once you reach 400 anything after that the dps increase is rather... marginal. Or in other words sucks.

But, the rest will come with gear. Chain heroics and you'll be geared out in no time.
