Well, doing well so far with my Shaman. Now level 22 which is good considering I play my others too. Still fun.
I looked at posts and didnt see anything and there, as you know, a slot for Relics. Can anyone give me any input as to when or how you get one or if more types or send me to a list.

There is a list here of which relics are in the game. Apparently there is now one for lowish level shamans that takes the place of your four totems but does nothing else. For totems that do things you won't see one until probably Outland, unless you have some patient friends who will run you through places like BRD.
If you have the gold to spare there's also at least one level 60 BoE one that drops off the rare in the Dire Maul arena--might be able to find someone selling that.

This was my first ever Relic, from Scholo.
And this is the lowest level Relic bar the one for counting as all 4 bag slot totems.
The list Firstclass supplied is gonna be very useful, refer to that.
Make sure to do the PvP daily quests in Grizzly Hills once you're there. There are 3 quests that involve nothing but killing some NPCs, and you're rewarded with 10 tokens each. For 30 of those tokens you can buy totems at the vendor.
Do some battlegrounds between 70 and 80. For only about 15k honor points you can buy something decent to get you started at 80, so you can spend your first dungeon emblems on more important gear pieces.
