So.. Dinged 80, what can I do currently?Follow

Armory Link.

All the gear, minus the sword I got from DTK Hc, I got @ 78.
Been able to heal ToC norm with fairly decent tanks from 78, hence the gear, and ran the hell out of Brewfest hence the trinket.

But uh, what'd you think would be the hardest thing to heal, that'd still be within reason and possible? Am always up for a challenge, have rather well geared mates to run with, and I'm the only one who's slacking atm due to only recently dinging.

Also, don't mind them possibly not being gemmed/enchanted at the current time, getting round to that after this. Saved all my greens from Northrend to DE, so getting the mats for most of the enchants is gonna be **** for a while.

Spellpower wise, you're already in a better position then I was upon hitting 80. I had collected 90% of the instance blues, enchanted them with the cheap version enchants (50sp instead of 63, 35 to pants instead of 50 etc..) and sat around 1300 which got me started.

First heroics were smooth or painful, completely dependent on the group. Oddly more so dependent on DPS then the actual tank, and not their actual DPS but their style of play and whether they ate avoidable AOE damage or not.

I pretty much ran as many heroics a day as possible. I had like a week off, and at one point I was farming 40 emblems a day for 2-3 days. There was no ToC then so I can't comment on that one. The thing about heroic ToC, again very dependant on the IQ of your group. If they stand in poison, get hit by exploding adds the difficulty goes up like 900% depending how much AOE they eat.

Just farm as many heroics as you can, put cheap enchants on your gear, use stonekeeper shards for welfare helm/shoulder enchants and spend a bit of gold on the rest.

As far as what CAN you heal through? Depends on how well you play of course, how well your group plays too. Naxx is certainly possible, people did it in 70 gear with ~equal/lesser stats then you have now. I wouldn't really step into Ulduar with that gear, more because of the questions you'll have to answer and all the people who will try to get you kicked before the run even starts. But if you can convince a group to let you stay, I'm sure you could place decently on the meters and possibly be carried through a full clear. I'd just farm heroics like mad though and try to get invites to whatever raids you can. I really don't like showing up undergeared for raids myself though, but that seems like a personal thing and other people have no problem whatsoever stepping in raids 3 tiers above their gear level in freshly dinged leveling items.

Thanks for the advice.

Think I'm gonna persist to farm every Hc then, for the time being and most probably later as well, until I can get myself into a Naxx10 PuG.
And I totally understand what you mean, about coming undergeared and what not. It's a burden on the rest of the raid, being carried and all, and I hate the feeling. Hence the thread =P

WoW-Heroes link. Can supposedly do EoE10, but what it suggests I should be able to do goes a bit weird when I wear my Rocket Boots. So uh, yeah.. :)
EDIT: And my Argent Lance :o
EDIT2: Healed OS25, and VoA10, both on MTs, VoA on both tanks. Got nice gloves from the latest dude from VoA, but zilch from OS. Originally was all a bit meh about hitting level cap, but now starting to enjoy it. :)
EDIT3: Started healing Naxx10, stubborn Rl stated that 2 healers should be able to do the job just fine even though we were both Healadins, but whatever. Did the Spider quarter, was actually pretty fun. Wiped twice I believe it was, but moved onto the Plague quarter. Got to the dance boss, and the RL/MT didn't know how to do the boss, annoyingly resulting in half the raid leaving.

Gathering a raid is appreciated, and asking for at least having the achievement I can see being reasonable, but asking for all to have the achievement and yet still not having it yourself? *facepalm*
