Hey all we need to add Talent Builds to the sticky. Cestinshaman mentions them, but does not actually have them there. Far from being his fault, we as a community need to come up with some Talent Builds that he can then input into his guide.

So all you awesome Shammies, start posting your builds!

I will get mine up... as soon as I am not at work and able to view it.

I think Cestin generally assumes that the rest of us read EJ too. ;)

Here are the relevant wiki pages for each spec, talent builds are there if you scroll down a bit:

Enhancement

Elemental
Restoration

Damn you Lady Isyris... It is all true... there are other forums you can go to for this information.

But...but...I hate those bastards... /cry

They talk mean to people.

In all seriousness though, we should at least have some cookie cutter specs in the sticky. I will add something once I get home.

Hehe, fair enough.

Bear in mind though that at least with Enhancement, the standard build is not a cookie-cutter per se, there are certain points that are required but there are still a lot left over to spread around where you want, depending especially on what other raid buffs you can expect to have.

Here are some elemental builds

PvE (considering new nova change and I didn't mess with glyphs too much since it depends on gear still i think...)

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#hVI0qfdItGfzAo0xxco:bp

PvP (I didn't list glyphs at all, you generally pick between survival or dps here)

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#hVI0qcdhtGfuAoMhgco

I am not a resto or enh expert so i dun wanna miss anything, when i was resto it was for heroics and seemed easy in that setting, never looked to in depth into the specs glyphs etc etc, Heroics pretty simple earthen shield rip tide chain heal and totems, so for raiding i have no idea ^^

Yea, I'm kinda like that.

Great initiative Moonkissed, more people noticing things like that in our community is really nice, but we already have specs in there.

Be sure to check the ZAM Wiki guide on Shamans as well, it has links to proper level 80 specs and holds other nice information!

I made sure to edit the wiki to have the specs, though you do have a point, it's not very obvious. That note I quoted is at the bottom, I should add something to the Talents section.

And, going there to see if the links still work....I can't find it. Going up to the Game Info tab at the top menu, then hitting Shaman, I do not see the Wowhead's I had in there. I'll look into this further. EDIT - This has been inspected, just now. This is what I edited and built specs for, but apparently that part of the site is no longer functioning. Further research will be done, cookie-cutters will be coming 'soon.' (TM)

Also, yes, your post in the sticky is correct, past #8, it's all off by one. I'll fix that.

I will also need to fix it up in the coming few days or whatever, seeing as we're into 3.2.2 now and I haven't played in about 1.5 months.

I will find the current cookie-cutter 'best' specs and add them into the guide soon enough.

Thanks Cestin!

I think it will be much better when we have those a bit more blatantly displayed.
