Lockpicking question - driving me crazy!Follow

Ok, I've been searching all over for the answer to this probably incredibly simple question and I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Where do I go to unlock lockpicking past 350? There are a million guides to get the lockpicking to 350, but none of them seem to mention a single thing regarding 350+ other than to pick the VH door. Even the lockpicking sticky here doesn't mention where to go at 350. I'm sure it's some trainer somewhere that 99.9% of you rogues just happened to stumble across and I'm one of the few that is having trouble with this, but please help me with this anyway!

Yep, I figured out the answer finally and it's one that I should have known. All I have to do is level up from 70-80 and I'll unlock those points. Dumb question answered. That's what I get for not playing my rogue for a couple of years.

Just to reiterate what you already figured out, you get 5 points added to your LP cap each time you level, i.e. at level 71 your cap is 355.

Easiest way to level LP is to macro pickpocket to your openers:

/cast Pick Pocket
/cast Cheap Shot

Replace Cheap Shot for each of the openers (sap, ambush, garrote) and you will find your self swimming in junkboxes that will take you all the way to 80. It will net you some nice spare coin as well.

I must try the macro out on my low level rogue as i went into the subtlety tree and always pick the mobs pocket first , one question i have is will it bypass the pickpocket if the mob cannot be pick-pocketed or will it as i assume just give me an error message ?

I wonder if i am seeing it right ?

I have tried the macro and if i get behind the mob and cast it ( without selecting mob ) i do not think it picks the pocket all the time if at all ? ( this is on mobs i know can be done ) yet if i select the target then cast it i know it works and i answered my previous question that if a mob cannot be pick pocketed it still does the attack.

Should i add a /attack ? to that macro to make it select the target first or will that not work ? , i will probably try it later but am sitting here half asleep before going to work.

Edited to say the macro sure does speed things up and i am amazed how many poisons i am getting from the boxes and even ones i am not high enough level to use which makes a change from normal drops that are always lower levelled , so far apart from the initial purchase of poisons at level 20 i am now level 33 and not had to buy any at all which did surprise me.
