I'd go with something like this.

It's for level 30, so you'll have an extra point to spend wherever. If you use your demon to tank a lot, I recommend Fel Synergy. If you tank a lot yourself, I recommend Demonic Embrace. Or you might want to max out Affliction before going anywhere else, in which case I recommend Shadow Embrace.

An alternative build would be this. This also assumes you do not drain tank (I never did). I was a fear lock while leveling so I never really needed Fel Concentration.

If you like to use your void walker as a tank, You might want to sacrifice some of your affliction talents to go into the Demo tree to make him a little better at holding aggro. Something like this.

When I was leveling I always found it easier to just drain soul a few mobs before they died to get back a lot of my mana. We are squishy enough at low levels so i tended to avoid life tap.

Really though, while leveling, it's all about how you are comfortable playing. There's really no cookie cutter leveling spec. Though once you get to 80 your spec will need to be revamped.

When I level a new 'lock, I don't even think of putting points into anything other than Affliction until after I've gotten the afflic tree to Unstable Affliction or better yet, Haunt. Until that point, putting points into other stuff just delays getting the "good stuff". I prefer Aniclator's build (The pushback from creatures just isn't enough to bother with) to Mazra's, although I'd put that last point into Grim Reach instead of Shadow Embrace.

I'd really recommend leveling up First Aid as a lock as well. After you're done killing mobs and you're low on mana, just lifetap 'till you're almost dead and bandage yourself. It really helps minimize downtime.

I still do this regularly at 80.

In nearly all purples, dailies, farming, and questing are easy kills - 2/3 casts (depending on crits) = dead mob. So I just kill until mana is down to 15-20%, lifetap a few times, slap a bandage on and keep rolling. Even in heroics if the healer is having mana issues I'll do this between pulls so they don't have to worry about topping me off from my lifetaps.

'Course if you roll affliction it's a non-issue as you can engage a mob at 50% hp and be back at 100% by the time they die. It's too bad the dps seems to be about half of my destro build =(

And to the OP, I just worked my way down the Affliction tree until haunt. After that I would suggest fel synergy and working your way towards the improved armor. I never really found "a leveling build" though.
