New question about focus.

Can you bind a hotkey, or make a macro(which I can than keybind) to make my target my focus?

There's also an actual keybinding for it, but yeah, that works too.

#show Kick
/clearfocus [modifier:shift]
/focus [target=focus,noexists]; [target=focus,dead]
/clearfocus [target=focus,help]
/stopcasting
/cast [target=focus,exists,harm] Kick; Kick

I stole it from a mage poly macro.

I'm usually using focus for tricks of the trade. I can see having a quick /focus then also a kick focus macro (or blind focus or whatever) would be nice for PvP though(and a few PvE situations). Maybe make your standard kick and blind buttons be macros with an alt modifier to do it on your focus target instead.

For instance, my blind button is mousewheel forward, I could make it so alt+mousewheel forward blinds my focus instead. My ` key is kick, alt+` could be kick focus.

For TotT... in PVP, it is wiser to use your focus on someone othe rthan your teammates.

A TotT macro that doesn't require a focus looks like:

/target **Your partners name here** (no **)
/cast Tricks of the Trade
/targetlasttarget

This will tricks your partner without ever changing your current target. And also free up your focus frame.

Dunno why, but I've never had much luck with focus/mouseover kicks. It works so much easier with pummel, the cost difference is ridiculous =P

Does this stop your auto-attack?

If not, then I love you long time :)

No, it just does it without affecting anything other than your energy bar and global cooldown.
