It's been awhile and my rogue is finally leveled a bit more. I had some questions about gameplay when I was in my 20s and it was decided to level up a bit and come back.

I had a couple questions about stealth that i couldn't figure out.
1. When stealthed, do players and npc have the same range in which they can see you?
-I often wonder while walking around stealthed, how close to other players have to be before they can see me. I then thought do enemy players and non-party friendly players see me at the same distance. What is the increased range in detection for players at a higher level? You can kinda see where that's heading...
2. I've only done 2 instances with this guy. Ramps and BF; I noticed a few of the npcs had a little eyeball over the top of their heads when stealthed. What's up with that? I'm assuming it's some kind of advanced stealth detection.

Answer to #2 is that the little Eye thing means they see through stealth. Period. You cannot stealth around them or you will be detected no matter what.
Which ties into #1.
The player and the NPC both have a stealth level or a stealth detection level. If the players Stealth level is>NPS Stealth Detect level you aren't spotted. If vice versa, you are. Its more compliated than that but thats the simplest version.
Factors into Stealth level are: Level, certain talents, certain gear.

So really I can't tell if an enemy player sees me unless they turn toward me and start attacking?

If you have the target of target frame, you can see when they target you, but otherwise yes, you're right.
