Looking for help with what heroics or non heroics and such I should be working on for gear upgrades, and what gear/gems/talents I need to get or get rid of.
Linking my armory and looking for advice on what instances I would be fine for dps on with my gear/stats at the moment.

Also what what heroics and such are not too hard for a beginning tank, and/or for getting upgrades, with nearly a full set of tempered saronite gear and some titansteel tank gear? Have 542 def skill and about 27k hp thanks to the 170 stamina brewfest trinklets.

In my sig. That is a great way to find Ret everything.
Its a great item guide, but I'm looking for a idea on what instances I should be focusing on with my gear/stats, heroics runs I prob won't be kicked out of, or rejected. Like if my stats are decent enough for normal ToC or naxx, should I be doing non heroics, starter heroics, for upgrades? Not sure if my 3000~ base AP is enough for heroics or not.
There any particular heroic or non heroic that would give me multiple upgrades?

ToC HC drops the Relentless Onslaught legs, to get rid of those defensive ones and nice replacement chestpiece for your blue and a ring and a trinket and an axe...

Just not sure if my stats are decent enough for a good number of heroics, think my dps comes out to around 2k or so. Is there a add-on for a dps counter?

2k should be enough for any heroics. If you are worried about it not being enough for ToC HC then go do normal as there will still be some upgrades (I must admit that I haven't looked through your gear thoroughly due to me being in work).

Your stats and spec are fine for raiding and such, your gear level's up to Naxx 10/25 at least (just don't expect to be top), grind ToC regular for the ring, and never gem pure blue gems, always either purple or green.
Other than that, good luck, and fight well.

I would say your gear is good enough to tank h ToC 5man with. I'd save some emblems up for either the triumph or conquest tanking libram though. Even the Ret emblem of triumph libram is better than the one you are using right now.
