Axe dropped now whatFollow

I got Lions Max from 10 TOC anyone playing around with axes. I havent been combat forever. So basically I need to get an OH sword or axe and use hack and slash. To use a dagger in OH it has to be fist and CQC. Do I have this right.

I am new to the whole axe thing my skill is still 0.

Any input will be appreciated.

So yes, you're correct. Also to add, it'd just be best if you can get within the same talent tier that way you're not splitting points up between two of them and not filling them out completely.
